This article explains how to create conversation groups in the e-Schooling chat, enabling more targeted communication among members of the school community.

Only users with access to e-Schooling can use the chat feature.

1.    How to access the Chat 

To access the chat, click on the envelope icon located in the upper right corner of the e-Schooling homepage.

Then, select “View All” to open the full messaging area, where you can view previous conversations, start new chats, or create groups.

2. Create a New Group

In the chat side panel, click on the three-person icon next to the search bar to create a new group.

Enter the group name (e.g., “1st Cycle Teachers”)

Select the members to include in the group. You can search by name or profile

Click Create to finish

The group will be created immediately and will be visible to all selected members.

The group chat feature in e-Schooling facilitates segmented communication between different profiles in the school community. With proper management, groups become effective spaces for sharing information and collaboration.
