Performance and Evaluation

Modified on Thu, 24 Jul at 4:25 PM

In e-Schooling, it is possible to configure performance and evaluation indicators to be used during classes, allowing teachers to record relevant observations about students’ behavior, performance, and values.

This article explains how to configure these indicators at a global level, ensuring they are available by default in all classes created in the system.

1.    Accessing the performance and evaluation settings

From the main menu, go to:

Settings > Pedagogical > Performance and Evaluations

2.    Pre-configured indicators in the system

By default, the system already includes two configured indicator groups: the Absences group and the Class group, which covers aspects related to students’ general behavior and performance.

Each group can be edited or expanded with new indicators.

For example, in the Class group, in addition to standard indicators such as Behavior, Participation, and Skill, new parameters can be added.

Click the “+” button to create a new indicator within an existing group.

If you wish to modify an indicator, select it by clicking directly on its name.

3. Creating new indicator groups

In addition to the default groups, the school can create new custom groups.

For example, a group called Values can be created, with indicators such as Empathy, Solidarity, and Altruism.

To do this:

Click the “+” button in the main Performance and Evaluations menu.

Give the group a name (e.g., Values) and add the desired indicators.

Each indicator can be configured with an evaluation criterion (such as Yes/No or a scale from 1 to 5), a representative icon, and can be enabled or disabled as needed. These elements make it easier to record observations in class mode.
The creation of scales will be addressed in a separate topic.

4. Applying indicators in classes

The indicators configured in this global menu will be automatically applied to new classes and lessons created after the configuration.

Changes made in this menu do not apply retroactively to already existing classes.
If it is necessary to apply new indicators to previously created classes, each class must be edited individually.
