This article guides users through the creation and management of course types, allowing the system to be adapted to the variety of training programs offered by the institution.

1. Accessing Settings

In the main menu, go to Settings > Pedagogical > Support Tables > Course Types, and click on Course Types to view or add new categories.

2. Creating Course Types

Course types represent the nature of the training being offered. This configuration is essential for distinguishing between regular, technical, free, and other types of courses.

Common examples:

                •  Regular    • Free Course •  Technical  •  Intensive  •  Robotics  •  Modular Training

3. How to Configure Course Types

            a. Click the “+” button to add a new course type.

            b. Enter the name (e.g., “Free Course”, “Technical”).
            c. Click Save.

This configuration is flexible and can be adapted to different educational contexts, such as regular schools, vocational training centers, or non-formal education institutions.

Defining course types in e-Schooling allows the institution’s educational offerings to be organized and categorized clearly and efficiently. Although there is currently no direct link to education levels, this structure will be essential for creating classes, curricula, and enrollments. The variety of course types available in the system ensures that any pedagogical model can be accurately represented.
