Changing or Adding a Teacher to a Subject

Modified on Tue, 12 Aug at 3:31 PM

This article explains how to associate, replace, or remove teachers from the subjects of a class in e-Schooling. Proper teacher management ensures that class schedules and lesson records remain aligned with the actual teaching throughout the academic year.

1.    Where is the teacher association done?

To begin associating teachers with a subject:

Management > Courses > Select the course > Class > Subjects > Teachers

2.    Associating a Teacher with a Subject

In the Teachers tab within the class subject, you can add one or more teachers.

Click on "+"

Select the teacher(s) you wish to associate.

Check the option Can manage schedules if you want the teacher to have permission to create schedule entries.

Click Add to complete the process.

Once associated, the teachers will appear listed as responsible for the subject.

 3. Recommendations for Replacements

During the school year, it may be necessary to replace a teacher. In such cases:

Do not remove the previous teacher if they have already taught lessons. This ensures the preservation of class records and history.

The replacement should be made in the schedule, associating the new entries with the new teacher.

Only remove a teacher if:

  • They were added by mistake.
  • They never taught or have no records in the class.

Maintaining the history of teachers is essential to ensure the integrity of pedagogical and administrative data.

Teacher management per subject should reflect the actual teaching situation and history of the class. e-Schooling offers flexibility in associating teachers, ensuring that each subject is correctly assigned throughout the school journey.
