Global Concepts of e-Schooling

Modified on Wed, 18 Jun at 12:08 PM

This article provides an overview of the organization and structure of the e-Schooling system, focusing on the cross-functional features available for different user profiles. By understanding these cross-functional features, your daily use of the platform will become simpler, more intuitive, and more efficient.

Structure and Navigation in the Main Menu

The main menu of e-Schooling is always located on the left side of the application. Its structure varies depending on the user's profile (e.g., teachers, managers, administrative staff). For example, a teacher will not have access to menus such as the school's account management or the system's base configuration.

In addition to the main menus, many pages feature submenus that appear only within the selected area. These submenus help organize the specific functionalities of each page

Example:

When accessing the menu Settings > General Settings, a submenu appears specifically for that page.

Editing and Saving Information

To edit any configuration or page information, a three-dot icon (⋮) is displayed in the upper right corner of the page.

After making changes, it is necessary to save them so they are recorded.

Quick Access and Direct Links

The e-Schooling system includes interactive links that facilitate navigation, linking directly to the highlighted information.

By clicking on a student's name in a listed activity on the dashboard, the user is automatically redirected to the student's profile.

Breadcrumb

At the top of the system, a breadcrumb is displayed showing the navigation path, allowing users to easily return to previous pages or switch menus without losing context.

Quick Actions on Each Page

Each page in e-Schooling presents a set of quick actions, located in the upper right corner. These actions are adapted to the page content and include, among others:

- Create new entries (e.g.,class, lesson)

- Delete records (e.gx., classes, lessons)

- Quick searches

Example:

On the student list page of a class, it is possible to:

    - Hide or show inactive enrollments

    - Renumber students alphabetically

    - Change student numbering

Filters and Advanced Search

By using the filter icon, users can perform detailed searches based on various criteria (subject, dates, schedules, teacher, etc.). The three dots associated with each filter field allow for expanded options, such as:

  - Date equals

  - Date between two periods

  - Date greater or less than a certain value

After configuring the filters, the list is automatically updated based on the search.

Data Export

The data resulting from any list or search can be exported in Excel format through the additional actions available in the three-dot quick actions menu.
