This article explains how to proceed when a user is unable to access their e-Schooling account, whether due to a forgotten password, loss of access to the associated email, or lack of account confirmation. Proper management of access credentials ensures security and continuity in using the platform.
1. Check if the account has been confirmed
Before creating new credentials, it is important to verify whether the account has already been confirmed that is, whether the user has accessed the system and validated the associated email.
Steps:
- Access the entity’s profile (student, teacher, guardian)
- Click on Manage user
- Check if the message “Email confirmed” appears
If the account is confirmed, it means the user has already validated the email and accessed the system.
2. Create a new user
If the user no longer has access to the old email or has never confirmed the account:
Steps:
- Access the entity’s profile (e.g., guardian) and click on Generate user
- Create the user
- Enter the email address and select the appropriate user group
- Click Create
3. Resend confirmation email
If the email is correct but the user did not receive the confirmation message:
Steps:
- Access the entity’s profile and click Send email
Advise the user to check their spam or junk folder, as the email may have been filtered.
4. Bulk user status check
To verify the status of multiple accounts:
Settings > System > User Management
- Check if the entity appears in the list of active users.
If not, you can generate a new user or resend credentials as needed.
5. Recover password
If the user has already confirmed the account but forgot the password, they can follow the steps described in the article https://help.e-schooling.com/a/solutions/articles/202000096203?lang=en&portalId=202000010592
Access credential management should be handled with attention to each user's situation to ensure secure and uninterrupted use of the platform.
