1. How to Create a New e-Doc
Selecting “New e-Doc” will create a document that is not associated with any subject, class, sharing settings, or context (such as a class or meeting).
Selecting “New e-Doc with Active Filters” means the document will automatically be associated with the filters that are currently active at the time of creation.
The e-Doc will appear in yellow, indicating that it is private—not shared with anyone and accessible only to you.
You can expand the editing area to make content editing easier and more visually appealing.
2. Editing an e-Doc
Insert a title and use the content area to work your magic
1. Insert content
a. Write directly in the e-Doc and format the text using the “More Text” option.
b. Insert images or videos:
Click the (+) icon on the left side of the editing area to add non-text content.
Some platforms block video embedding. If the video does not display using the quick video option, you can embed it using the “link” option.
Select some text, click on “More rich”, choose the “Link” option, and paste the video URL.
c. Copy content from other documents and paste it into the e-Doc while keeping the formatting.
After copying the content from the original document, paste it into your e-Doc.
A message will appear asking whether you want to clear formatting or keep formatting:
- If you clear formatting, the content will be pasted as plain text.
- If you keep formatting, the content will retain the original styles (colors, fonts, links, etc.).
d. Upload other documents into the e-Doc: Drag the document into the e-Doc content area and drop it when the “Move” option appears.
You can import ready-made files in Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, etc.
3. Create pages/chapters
Freely create the structure you want for your e-Doc.
1.Click on th e “Pages” option in the upper-left corner of the e-Doc, and add pages/chapters by clicking the (+) next to the page name.
