e-Schooling allows you to create events in the school calendar using different types previously configured. This feature helps organize the schedule more efficiently and ensures each event is properly identified.
1. Access your calendar from the homepage
2. Click on the type of event you want to create and fill in the fields
a. New Event (General activities such as lectures, field trips, or celebrations) Fill in the following fields and save the information:
• Event name
• Start date and time
• Duration
• Event type
• Description
• Participants
b. New Meeting (Formal meetings with parents, teachers, or other stakeholders)
Fill in the following fields and save the information:
• Meeting name
• Start date and time
• Duration
• Event type (Meeting, Evaluation Meeting, or Activity)
• Participants
c. Create Timetable Slot (Fixed time blocks in the calendar, such as reserved periods)
Fill in the following fields and save the information:
• Select the class for which you want to create the timetable slot
• Select the subject (curricular unit)
• Start and end date and time
• Duration
• Day of the week
• Participants (Teachers and students)
d. Create Class (Represents a regular or extra class, linked to a subject and class group)
Fill in the following fields and save the information:
• Select the class for which you want to create the class
• Select the subject (curricular unit)
• Start date and time
• Duration
• Day of the week (only one option available)
• Participants (Teachers and students)
• Description
Events created using the configured types (Class, Timetable Slot, Meeting, Event) will be visible in the profiles of the participants involved, such as students, teachers, or other users with access to the event.
This ensures that each user has a personalized and up-to-date view of their calendar.
